Notal is a note‑taking app designed with privacy‑first principles, collecting only what is strictly necessary to provide its features.
1. Data Controller
NotalTech (https://notaltech.com) is the data controller for this application.

2. Data We Process
- Note and Table Content: Your notes are stored locally on your device. If you use Notal Pro, you can choose to sync via iCloud (CloudKit). Apple manages encryption and storage through your Apple ID.
- In‑App Purchases: Purchases are handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We never access or store your payment information.
- Optional Diagnostics: We may collect anonymous technical metrics (crash logs, performance) to improve stability. No personal data or note content is included.
3. No Ads or Trackers
Notal does not include advertisements, analytics SDKs, or third‑party tracking tools.
4. User Control and Data Deletion
- You can delete notes anytime within the app.
- Uninstalling Notal removes local data from your device.
- iCloud data remains under your Apple ID until deleted manually or until iCloud for Notal is disabled.
5. Security
All synced data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure.
6. Updates
We may update this Policy periodically. The latest version will always be available at https://notaltech.com/privacy.
